December 9th Celebration

Wednesday December 9th from 11:30am - 6:30pm.
Lunch is provided and an evening reception is hosted.

LogoFirst, we want to encourage you by honoring individuals that exemplify great nonprofit leadership. Second, we want to help you re-imagine and re-invigorate your efforts to resolve community issues, and develop bold, creative responses and new practices for addressing those issues.

The details:

  • For 30 years, we’ve been inspired by brilliant, generous, and exemplary nonprofit and civic leaders.  Join us for lunch and celebrate 30 innovative nonprofit leaders.  We’ll learn how these leaders met ambitious goals, renewed lagging support or reinvented organizations in the face of overwhelming obstacles...

    .
  • Katherina Rosqueta, Executive Director of The Center for High Impact Philanthropy in the School of Social Policy & Practice at Penn, models how business, government and the nonprofit sectors can work together to have greater impact in challenging economic times
  •
  • Matthew Le Veque demystifies Web 2.0 to increase your marketing reach and impact through social networking.  See examples and learn about using digital strategies, the impact, the challenges (and costs) and practical applications for the future.

  • Zunaira Munir, MBA PhD will teach us about the Blue Ocean Strategy.  “Upending traditional thinking about strategy, Blue Ocean Strategy charts a bold new path to winning the future”.   The six principles of the strategy show how to reconstruct market boundaries, focus on the big picture, reach beyond existing demand, get the strategic sequence right, overcome organizational hurdles, and build execution into strategy.

  • Finally, when you’re brimming with new ideas and ready to shake things up, connect with your colleagues during the Center’s 30th Anniversary Reception. This will also be a great opportunity to meet the Center’s talented and dedicated instructors, consultants, and friends who have been building better leaders since 1979.

Join the celebration and come together to learn how to turn inspiration into action!
