Pricing Policy

Nonprofit Directions is mailed to about 8,500 recipients in California. Printed every Wednesday (except 12/26/07 and 01/02/08). Ads appear for 1 week in print and for 4 weeks online at www.nonprofitjobscoop.org.

Print Deadline

The print deadline is Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. for the following Wednesday's issue. For example, 1:00pm PST on August 1st, is the deadline for August 8th issue.

Payment Methods

  • Credit Card (Recommended): Visa/Mastercard/American Express. Processed immediately for the upcoming issue. A PDF invoice is emailed to you. The paid invoice and newsletter will later be mailed to you.
  • Check: A PDF invoice is emailed to you. The ad is held until a check request is faxed to 213-687-7159 or check is received. The paid invoice and newsletter will later be mailed to you.

Classified Ads
In print, a classified ad is a text-only ad, only listing one position. A classified ad is placed in a column along with other ads with the title in bold and the description in one paragraph. Contains no line breaks or formatting. Ads are also posted to our website for 30 days with the frst week in print and 7 additional days for each additional week in print.
 

Display Ads
In print, a display ad is an ad that stands out in its own box, highlighting it on the page. Formatting and logos are allowed. Use a display ad to put more emphasis on your job listing or to advertise multiple positions. Ads are also posted to our website for 30 days with the frst week in print and 7 additional days for each additional week in print.

How do I post an ad?

A. Online, using nonprofitjobscoop.org

  1. Write your job title and job description (including contact info for applicants), and decide on the type of ad you wish to place.
    * Refer to Advertising Rates
    * Determine your word count by using Microsoft Word and selecting "Word Count" under the Tools Menu.
    * Multiple job titles and descriptions longer than 270 words will only fit in a display ad.
  2. Go to http://www.nonprofitjobscoop.org/menu and login.
    * If you do not have an account, go to http://www.nonprofitjobscoop.org/register.php and create one.
    The website will email you and request you to click on a link to turn on your account.
  3. Press "Post a Job" at the upper right hand corner of the page.
  4. Fill in the details concerning your job and go to the next page using the button at the bottom.
    * A estimate for your word count will be at the bottom of this page. Word count will be checked with MS Word.
    * Ads can be blind (no mention your name or organization name).
    * Contact information at the bottom will be added , increasing the word count, if we do not see an email address, fax or mailing address in the body of the ad.
  5. Check the information you've entered and go to the next page.
  6. Select the type of ad and how you wish to pay
    * Credit Card, ad processed immediately
    * Invoice, PDF invoice is emailed, ad held til a check request is faxed to 213-687-7159 or check is received.
  7. Confirm payment information
  8. You will now receive a email from the website if the ad has been sucessfully submitted.
    * If you decided to submit a camera ready display ad, please email an attachment to nd@cnmsocal.org.
    * Ads submitted with a credit card are typically posted to the website within 1-2 business days.
    * You will be contacted regarding any problems or with your PDF invoice if you've requested one.

  9. A paid invoice and newsletter will be mailed to you once the position is printed.

  • Job Title
  • Job Description (please include contact instructions for applicants)

Billing/Contact Information

You will receive a PDF invoice in our reply back confirming the ad. The ad held until credit card information/check request is faxed to 213-687-7159 or check is received.
