Preparing Program Budgets to Accompany Grant Proposals
Dates: Wednesday, May 28, 2008
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Half-Day)
Fee: (varies)
Instructor: Carol Geisbauer
Course Code: FR 46
Course Description
It’s a sad fact that many excellent grant proposals are denied funding because of poorly prepared budgets. Often the budget appears to withhold important information, such as who the other funders are going to be, OR the line items do not match up with the written grant request. Then there are other issues such as how to fund more of Program Overhead. This workshop will include lecture, examples and practice exercises. Bring a calculator.
