Description:
This seminar will provide you with the tools and knowledge on how to form and operate a nonprofit in compliance with the law, but also, in understanding how to manage finances, select a board, fundraise and market a nonprofit organization as a success. Topics to be covered: an overview of nonprofit statistics, legal definitions of solicitations, donor types, compensation (state and federal limitations), personal liability, maintenance obligation, and new developments on the horizon.

bio:
Kent E. Seton, Esq. is a Los Angeles based attorney who co-founded the Center for Non Profit Creation, as a separate entity, exclusive from his law firm, to dedicate its efforts to forming and assisting non profits nationwide. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and his J.D. degree from the Loyola Law School. Mr. Seton has created one of the largest companies nationwide in CNPC which specializes in the formation and maintenance of tax exempt organizations. In addition, to his many job responsibilities; Mr. Seton has spoken at numerous conferences across the country in this area.
