Course Description Communicating your organization’s results can demonstrate your value to key stakeholders, such as funders, board members, community leaders and donors. It also can be useful for comparing your approach with that of similar organizations and for improving your programs. This workshop covers various ways to communicate your impact to different audiences. We will review the key concepts of Mission, Client and Outcome. Then, you will learn how to: determine the best medium of communication for different audiences and demonstrate the change experienced by your clients using both qualitative and quantitative data. This workshop assumes some knowledge of evaluation and is intended for senior-level staff, such as senior evaluators; development directors or managers; and executive directors.
Instructor's Bio Susan Forman is a principal of Forman Consulting, specializing in management consulting services for nonprofit and public sector organizations. She has twenty years of experience assisting clients with their management and organizational needs. Prior to starting Forman Consulting, Ms. Forman was with KPMG Peat Marwick, an international management consulting firm and also served as an evaluator at the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
