This session will help attendees understand how database management and technology can be used to build strong relationships in development. We will focus on numerous case studies from the nonprofit world that demonstrate how fundraising software is being used to create successful fundraising and will discuss: • What technology can and can't do for you • Current trends and techniques presently being used • How to organize and use your database for the best results • Using your database to better communicate and build lifelong donors
Instructor's Bio Cody Sharp is an account executive with eTapestry. In that role, he is responsible for working with nonprofits in the Southern California area to help determine their database needs. He has spoken at numerous nonprofit conferences about how to effectively use the internet to help raise money and build relationships. Cody’s clients include ThinkCure, Employment and Community Options, and Talk About Curing Autism.
