Course Description Former NBC Nightly News correspondent Noah L. Nelson will show you how to get your message out. In this interactive session, Noah will: • Explain how the news media works • Give you firsthand accounts of what it takes to get a reporter to cover your organization or event • Provide tips on interacting with the members of the media • Cover how you can create those all important media contacts
Instructor's Bio Noah L. Nelson is a writer, voice over talent and former network correspondent for NBC News. In twelve years as a correspondent for NBC, he covered stories such as 1992 Clinton presidential campaign, the civil war in El Salvador, the political unrest in Haiti and the drug wars in Mexico and Columbia. He has also been an investigative reporter on two NBC News magazine shows.
