Course Description
Today, when our organizations are facing some of the toughest challenges ever, boardmembers must step up to ensure that funds are raised and expended carefully, to insist on a laser-like focus on mission, and to guide their organizations safely into the future. But how?

The Center For Nonprofit Management is joining forces with BoardSource  to help local executives and boards learn how to provide better governance. This special opportunity provides tools and services that mobilize boards so that organizations fulfill their missions, achieve their goals, increase their impact, and extend their influence.

Some of the questions the session will answer:

  1. As a boardmember, how can I best help my organization survive this economic downturn?
  2. How can we best respond to the many challenges in the communities we serve?
  3. What changes can our board make now, that will position the organization for the future?
