Course Description
Tips and lessons for using marketing and communications to get the word out about the amazing work your organization is doing and why it needs to be supported that are effective even in tight economic climates. This interactive, discussion-oriented session encourages participants to submit their biggest challenges before it starts so the class can focus on the specific scenarios and needs of the group while sharing examples from the instructor’s 30 years of experience.

Instructor's Bio
Anne R. Whatley is Vice President of Cause Communications, the organization that has brought you The Communications Toolkit: a guide to navigating communications in the nonprofit world. She has over 12 years of experience working with nonprofits on their communications and marketing goals.  Anne's background includes managing award-winning national public education and social marketing campaigns. She has advised the Center for American Progress, World Wildlife Fund, as well as the Center for Disease Control Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center and several state and regional teen anti-smoking initiatives.
