Speaker: Bob Harrington of LaPiana Associates. Event Description
We talk about leveraging resources and partnering to work smarter, but how do we do this exactly? La Piana Associates is the nation’s leading resource on all aspects of nonprofit strategic restructuring. This full day seminar will present cutting-edge techniques for successful partnering among nonprofit organizations including the introduction to a continuum of partnerships — joint programming, administrative consolidations, joint ventures, and mergers — through which nonprofits strive to anticipate or respond to environmental threats and opportunities. This groundbreaking seminar will include a formal presentation and small breakout groups and will cover: • Assessing a nonprofit’s readiness for strategic restructuring • The negotiations process • Implementation/integration issues • The role of consultants • Financial ramifications
