Instructor: Elizabeth Nesbitt Course Description An organization typically embarks upon a capital campaign after a thoughtful and thorough planning process intending to strengthen or grow their organization’s capacity. But what does an organization do when the careful planning for a campaign collides with a tumultuous and challenging economy? Do they hunker down and stay the course? Or chart a new route? We will talk about how to address these questions and reengineer the capital campaign for these unprecedented times. Whether your organization is immersed in, struggling to ?nish, or contemplating a campaign; we will explore the options and discuss strategies for success.
Instructor's Bio Elizabeth Nesbitt is a vice president for Netzel Grigsby Associates, Inc. She joined the Los Angeles-based consulting firm in 1996 and has served clients in preservation, education, religious, youth and social service organizations. Her work includes successful multi-million dollar campaigns, feasibility studies, and strategic and development plans. She serves on the board of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is chairing National Philanthropy Day in Los Angeles in 2009.
