Instructor: Susan Rice Course Description What does a successful major donor program look like and how do you get there? This course will help development professionals launch or revitalize a major gifts program. Dr. Rice will share the resources, systems and tools required to support a major gift program, as well as specific strategies for effectively building, stewarding, and maintaining a base of individual major donors.
Instructor's Bio Susan F. Rice has worked in nonprofit fundraising management for public and private educational institutions, social service agencies and public policy organizations for more than 25 years. She has advised the president of Santa Monica College, served as the president/CEO of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association and directed major gifts for Special Olympics International. At UCLA, she directed the $35 million dollar management school component of UCLA’s capital campaign. Susan has taught fundraising for the AFP & UCLA Extension and recently completed eight years of service on the board of CFRE International.
