Instructor's Bio
Caryn Ryan is the Founder and Managing Member of Missionwell LLC.  She has extensive experience championing and starting up shared services both in industry settings at Amoco Corporation and  BP plc and in a nonprofit setting at World Vision International. While at Amoco, Caryn was a constant sponsor of a variety of reengineering and shared service start ups. This continued at BP, where as CFO of BP's global oil trading, she initiated and formalized global shared services while improving critical aspects of management information, and initiated external benchmarking as a means of taking Oil Trading to world class standards. As CFO of World Vision International, she established a global change initiative spanning accountability systems and governance, shared services, and strategic planning. Caryn is a member of the board of directors of two charities and chairs the Finance Committee of La Canada Presbyterian Church.
