Course Description
Most of us have been impacted by the economy, needing to take on new responsibilities and challenges we haven't had before. As our workforce gets leaner, we have to pick up the slack, learn new skills and operate outside of the areas where we feel most competent. In this interactive workshop, we will identify the areas in our life and work where we are most comfortable, the familiar places where we know what to expect. Then we will challenge ourselves to push those self-imposed walls out just a little further and look at the possibilities that become visible when our comfort zone is larger. Supervisors will learn how to create an environment where others also feel confident enough to stretch and take on new challenges. This is a potent motivational tool for supervisors and a great way to maximize employee engagement and potential.
