NOTE: This seminar has been cancelled. Course Description This seminar focuses on the elements of building a new team or re-energizing an existing team. Topics include: defining teams and teamwork; the different types of teams; essential steps in becoming a team; how teams solve problems and make decisions; team roles and responsibilities; and when not to do team building.
Instructor's Bio Del Black, MA, CPC, brings over 20 years of training and development experience and a passion for helping adults learn to her seminars. As an internal consultant for large companies, she provides a practical approach to the topics of empowering leadership and high performance team development. She also has experience as a human resources generalist, and in organizational development and lean manufacturing. Del has worked for organizations including Hughes Aircraft, Raytheon, Fluor-Daniel, and currently The Boeing Company. She is currently serving as Elder for Leadership Development at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Los Alamitos, CA. She holds degrees in Psychology and Organizational Leadership, and is currently pursuing an MA in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. Del is also a Certified Professional Coach through the Academy for Coach Training.
