Instructor: Anne Whatley Course Description Branding encapsulates an organization’s strategy and vision. It is more than a logo, your brand is what you do and who you are — as perceived by your public. For nonprofits, branding ensures your work is heard, understood, used and remembered.
In this introductory session we will cover the five top rules of branding for nonprofits and discuss how to implement these concepts into your daily work. Instructor's Bio Anne R. Whatley is Vice President of Cause Communications, the organization that has brought you The Communications Toolkit: a guide to navigating communications in the nonprofit world. She has over 12 years of experience working with nonprofits on their communications and marketing goals. Anne's background includes managing award-winning national public education and social marketing campaigns. She has advised the Center for American Progress, World Wildlife Fund, as well as the Center for Disease Control Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center and several state and regional teen anti-smoking initiatives. |
