Course Description Would you like to learn how to create a streamlined grant funding and financial management system? This seminar is designed to help non-profit organizations set up financial systems to make grant seeking and reporting much easier. It will teach you how to set these systems up using a team approach and a reverse design process. The session will also cover the Unified Chart of Accounts (UCOA) developed by the National Center for Charitable Statistics, and leaders from the California Society of CPAs, and California Association of Nonprofits (CAN). The UCOA is a chart of accounts and reporting method designed specifically for nonprofits to assist them in translating their current financial statements into the reporting categories required by the IRS Form 990, the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB A-122), United Way of America's accounting guides and other standard formats. It also promotes uniform accounting practices in the nonprofit sector. During the sessions speakers will also discuss your specific questions and needs. Instructor Bios
