Course Description
Planning a fundraising gala, a 5K run, or a conference? No matter what type of event you are going to have, you want "guests to show up at your party," and you want to generate awareness about your organization. This workshop will teach you how to create and implement a public relations campaign to help ensure success. Learn how to reach your target audiences and the types of materials to use for media outreach that will generate pre- and post-event publicity. Managing media at the event will be covered, as will print, electronic and online media outlets.
