NOTE: This seminar has been cancelled. Course Description Former NBC Nightly News correspondent Noah L. Nelson will show you how to get your message out. In this interactive session, Mr. Nelson will explain how the news media works, give you firsthand accounts of what it takes to get a reporter to cover your organization or event, and provide tips on interacting with the members of the media. He'll also cover how you can create those all important media contacts.
Instructor's Bio Noah Lord Nelson is a writer, voice over talent and former network correspondent for NBC News. He was born in Dallas Texas. In twelve years as a correspondent for NBC, he covered stories such as 1992 Clinton presidential campaign, the civil war in El Salvador, the political unrest in Haiti and the drug wars in Mexico and Columbia. He has also been an investigative reporter on two NBC News magazine shows. His honors include gold and silver medal awards from the New York International Film Festival. He holds a B.A. degree in journalism from Texas A&M University, Commerce.
