Course Description
Experienced development professionals in the arts are invited to consider innovative fundraising strategies that provide new and increased giving while strengthening donors' sense of connection to organizational mission.  Even small shops can create effective major gifts fundraising programs-identifying, cultivating, and soliciting increased gifts. 
Participants will learn about:
* Effective, mission-driven strategies that engage and educate donors
* A simple structure for managing donor identification, cultivation, and solicitation
* Critical steps in major gift solicitation
* Training board members and volunteers to ask for money.

Instructor's Bio
Eileen Gill joined Arts Consulting Group in 2005 specializing in fundraising, marketing and strategic planning.  Throughout her twenty year career as a senior development executive and as a consultant, she has helped institutions grow through her focused, bottom-line approach to increasing contributed and earned income and through integrated organizational planning. Her expertise encompasses capital campaigns,  major gift fundraising, corporate sponsorship, foundation and government grants, annual funds, membership, and special events.
