NOTE: This seminar has been cancelled. Course Description For the first time in history, today's workplace has four distinct generations working side by side, each with dramatically different communication styles, professional expectations and training needs. This rich diversity of staff offers exciting and dynamic possibilities, but the opportunity for misunderstanding, confusion and lost productivity is also high. This seminar will help participants to understand the different needs and expectations of each generation. We will look at ways to narrow communication gaps, increase generational appreciation and create more cohesive, functioning teams. Instructor's Bio Clayton Vetter is currently the Manager of Employee Training and Development for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. He has been a trainer for over ten years. He also served as the Education Director for Planned Parenthood Association of Utah and taught Human Sexuality at the University of Utah. Prior to working in the nonprofit sector, he spent 13 years a public school teacher where he coached a nationally ranked debate team. He also serves as a researcher and consultant for HBO's Big Love.
