Course Description Taking into consideration the particular needs and priorities of arts and cultural organizations, this seminar will: * Review the current funding landscape * Share techniques and offer insights into researching funding sources * Explore the relationship of strategic planning and program development to proposal writing * Focus on developing the critical elements of a funding proposal * Cover the essential proposal components, including the description of your artistic vision and goals, objectives, methods, evaluation, budget and plans for future funding Effective writing techniques, stylistic considerations and basic do's and don'ts of proposal writing will also be covered. If available, please bring a two-three page proposal that you are currently working on to the seminar. For both experienced and novice proposal writers.
Instructor's Bio Judith Teitelman brings more than 20 years of experience in helping grass roots and mid-sized organizations and large institutions strengthen their management and resource generating capacities and effectively plan for the future.
