These resources may be available at other libraries or centers or for a fee online.

1. Foundation Directory Online
   The online version of FC Search is no longer available at CNM unless you are a Super Saver member. It is available for free at Cooperating Collections. This database is also available for a subscription fee.
2. Foundation Finder
   Basic information about more than 70,000 private and community foundations in the U.S. Includes links to current 990's.
3. Los Angeles Times: NewsBank database
   Search this free archive for information about local funders available at Los Angeles Public Library.
4. Proquest Database Magazines
   Search this database to find articles on fundraising, activities of other nonprofits, and trends in the nonprofit sector available at Los Angeles Public Library.

   Use this database to search for corporations in your area by name, industry, geographic location or size. Available at Los Angeles Public Library.
6. Associations Unlimited
   Use this to find membership organizations that may be interested in your programs and services. Available at Los Angeles Public Library.
7. Hoover's Online
   Information of business activities of companies. Additional information is available for a fee, but the full database may be available free in public or academic libraries. Grantseekers will need to visit corporate website to learn about charitable activities.
8. Corporate Information
   Similar to Hoover's with international corporations. Grantseekers will need to visit corporate website to learn about charitable activities. activities.
9. Prospect Research Online
   Designed specifically for the nonprofit industry, PRO combines philanthropic data from Corporate Research, Foundation Research, Major Gift Announcements, Executive Biographies, and Donor/Board Lists.
10. GrantSelect
    Can be used to identify potential funders. A 7-day free trial is available.
11. Wealth ID
    Used to identify and detail major and planned gift prospects and track their financial activity.
12. WealthEngine.com
    Data mining service to review larger donor/prospect files.
13. Big Online
    Information on 67,000 foundations, corporate donors, matching gift programs, in kind donations, and government grant makers.
14. Foundation Search
    Database of all US Foundation (Form 990-PF) information returns. Also includes New Foundation Watch, a searchable database of all newly-registered foundations.
15. GrantPartners.net
    Designed to help donors identify issues, projects and programs that are of interest to them and appropriate for their support, and help applicants to showcase their mission, projects and programs for potential donors.

1. Charities Search, CA Office of the Attorney General
   Access to all California 990's and 990-PF's. New records are added weekly.
2. GuideStar
   Access to all national 990's and 990-PF's as well as basic financial information on all nonprofit organizations in the United States. Available for free at our location.
3. GrantSmart
   Access to national 990-PF forms.
4. Charity Navigator
   Provides information on more than two thousand charities and evaluates the financial health of each of charities.
5. GrantPartners.net
   Designed to help donors identify issues, projects and programs that are of interest to them and appropriate for their support, and help applicants to showcase their mission, projects and programs for potential donors.
